Hi,
I'm Rachel from
The Dotting Center

I’m here to help you ignite your passion and find your creative flow through the art of mandala painting.

I found my creative flow through this art form 7 years ago. As a lifelong artist, I quickly realized how differently it felt to paint mandalas. Creating these abstract, symmetrical, colorful objects gives the artist a feeling of calmness and inner peace. I found that the repetitive, focused attention needed for mandala painting can be incredibly healing.

It became my mission to share what I know with other artists by providing free YouTube tutorials and offering affordable, high quality dotting tools.

I want to help you develop your own healing art practice.

Thanks for visiting!

For Artists

It all starts in the center.

That first center dot begins the journey of each piece. The Dotting Center is a place where you can begin your journey into the meditative art form of dotting.

I believe that art is therapeutic and creative time is precious.

As an artist myself, I’ve created tools and stencils to help bring my own work up to a higher level. In my shop and YouTube channel I’m thrilled to share my process with you. Most of my tools are designed to allow you to skip straight to the “painty bits” with the use of stencils and intuitively color coded tools.

Whatever your skill level, my hope is that you find something at The Dotting Center that helps you find your joy in creating your own unique dotted treasures for years to come.

Original Dot Mandala Art by Rachel Keough

For Collectors

Mandalas have been used throughout the world in many different cultures to aid in meditation as well as to symbolize wholeness, connectedness, and unity.

My inspiration can come from color, nature, a song, or a feeling. I’ve developed a system of tools + intuition that I use to choose color and form as I go.

The heart of each mandala is in the center. The rows unfold one dot at a time, one stroke at a time, slowly growing out from the center. Small pieces can take hours while larger pieces take weeks or even months. I’m drawn to variety, which allows each piece have its own unique energy. If there was a specific inspiration for the piece, I will note it in the description but the final meaning, title, and interpretation of the piece is left up to the collector. (Hopefully that’s YOU!)

Thank you for your interest. I hope you find something in my gallery that speaks to your heart.

Warm regards,

Rachel

Tap into your intuition for choices like color, line, and shape. This intuition builds creative confidence.

Mistakes are Good

Our mistakes are our teachers. Behind every "painting oopsy" is a lesson. Sharing my mistakes is my favorite way to teach.
